Summary
Circe
Circe is born in Helios's palace. She is a strange girl who does not have her father's powers or her mother's seductive ability. When she visits the mortal world looking for companionship, she discovers she is good at witchcraft. Her magic allows her to transform her rivals into monsters. Frightened, Zeus banishes her to a deserted island where she perfects the dark arts and meets numerous figures from Greek mythology, including Medea and the Minotaur. Circe is unaware of the danger she faces from humans as well as the gods. To protect all that she loves, she will have to decide if she belongs in the world she was born into or the world she has grown to love.
